Fairly new to school administration? This session is designed for novice K-12 school administrators. While open to any administrator in years 1-3, a special invitation is extended to alumni of NCPAPA's Assistant Principal Accelerator (APA) program and Early Career Principals Academy (ECPA) program. With a focus on deliberate and proactive leadership, this session is grounded in Public Impact's framework for Turnaround Leadership. Participants will explore the topics of: -Planning for continuous improvement -Establishing a culture of high expectations -Communicating in a positive and proactive manner -Kindling a spirit of celebration Because all school communities deserve effective leadership from the start, accelerating novice leadership competencies are essential.
