The Jones County Public School System believes that every classroom, school and department must first function from places of trust and personal leadership in order to create inspiring, safe and rich learning environments for every student. During the 2021-22 school year, the district formulated a new strategic plan with key action steps focused on the importance of and specific trainings on the importance of leadership and trust for every educator and student. Leading during an exciting and dynamic time period, JCPS has shifted many instructional strategies to inspire students to thrive in an environment of trust. The district has also focused on inviting its educators to work in a place of trust in order to grow and impact student learning.
