Facilitator: Randall Wyatt, Ph.D., CSPP SF
Join DCTs and Training Faculty to dialogue about how we can amplify excellence in the clinical training world through engaging our students and practicum and internships. We will have presentations of what works at our schools and dialogue with each other to brainstorm best practices and effective tools and tips. We will also spend time offering each other support and troubleshooting difficult training issues that face DCTs and training faculty.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
• Discuss best practices, obstacles, and challenges in training students in ways that amplify clinical intervention competency training.
• Describe strategies to engage practicum and internship directors and supervisors in creative ways that enhance training for students.
• Identify key tools that DCT and training faculty can use to motivate and fully engage students in becoming socially responsive change agents in their work.
