This address will focus on the pressing need to implement diversity, equity, and inclusion in our work lives. It will also engage ways to make impactful decisions and take tangible steps toward justice. Professor Stefan M. Bradley, current Chair of the Department of African American Studies at Loyola Marymount University, will share his experiences, as a professor and Chair at St. Louis University, navigating crises during the Ferguson Uprising of 2014 and the ensuing on- and off-campus demonstrations. He will highlight lessons learned and challenge all of us to create opportunities to improve the life chances of society’s most vulnerable.
Learning Objective
Participants will be able to articulate at least one tangible step they can take toward a more equitable, just society, manifested on their respective campuses, in their respective communities, or both.
