The NCSPP 2020 Mid-Winter Conference “Amplification 2020—Amplifying Excellence in Professional Psychology: Augmenting Social Change and Social Responsiveness in Curriculum, Program Development and Practice” has a two-fold mission:1) to amplify the work of professional psychology and 2) to develop training goals and materials to help prepare the next generation of psychologists who are socially responsive and can lead social change.
The goals of this session include addressing the following:
1) What is the Education and Training Taxonomy? How does adopting a common taxonomy in our training programs impact the training trajectory for graduate students at the doctoral levels, internship and professional practice levels?
2) How do we increase adoption of the Education and Training Taxonomy in doctoral, internship, and postdoctoral training programs? (see www.apa.org/ed/graduate/specialize/taxonomy.pdf
