The goal of this “Free”, certified DHS/FEMA 2-day performance level course is to train public, private and non-governmental organizations (NGO) stakeholders to establish a resilient disaster supply chain that is capable of rapidly sourcing, tracking, transporting, staging, and distributing critical emergency supplies to survivors during a disaster. The training provides a practical approach for participants to develop rapidly collaborative public, private and NGOs solutions to restore pre-existing supply chains that provide critical supplies to survivors during disaster. The course includes a series of disaster simulations with participants racing against time to keep supplies moving- while confronting challenges common to disasters. Pre-Requisites: Must be current as Salvation Army EDS Credentialed and have completed The Salvation Army – EDS Courses of “Incident Command System” (SA-200) and “Logistics Section” (SA-380) prior to enrolling in this course.
