We talk a lot about recruiting, training, and retention of new employees to become great emergency telecommunicators, but what are we doing to ensure that our trainers have the necessary tools they need to develop excellent telecommunicators without burning themselves out? This presentation will focus on how trainers can best be prepared for their role and is applicable for trainers as well as management who oversee trainers. We will talk about adult learning styles, coaching and teaching methods, giving constructive feedback, and presenting yourself as a trainer.
