This highly inter-active workshop provides an overview of critical thinking concepts and focuses on defining critical thinking and demonstrating “how to do it” in a financial management context. This skill will be critical to support the recent Acquisition Transformation Strategy. The workshop will address the need and benefits of critical thinking and then demonstrate some methods that learners can adopt to improve financial management outcomes. The session will challenge participants to assess their work situation and determine how the critical thinking methods can be adopted in their work teams and environments to improve results and job satisfaction. The workshop will also address how leaders can establish a critical thinking culture that improves organizational effectiveness.
