NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) stands at the forefront of space exploration, serving as the lead center for the Space Launch System (SLS), Human Landing System (HLS), and a critical hub for deep space human habitation. However, managing the resources required to propel humanity to the Moon and Mars requires a financial approach that is as robust as the engineering itself. In this session, we will explore how NASA navigates the complex intersection of high-stakes mission priorities and fiscal stewardship. We will provide an inside look at the current resource landscape at MSFC and compare with DoW's/Army's resource management framework to highlight opportunities for shared learning.
