From Survey to Strategy: Making Frontline Voice a Real Management Tool
Shawnda Morris (Loyola Medicine & St. Joseph Health System), Bridget Altenburg (Skills for Chicago)
Co-Facilitators: Ulises Trujillo-Rivera (FSG), Kendra Berenson (FSG)
Frontline retention improves when leaders move beyond surveys and treat employee voice as a real management tool. In this 60-minute Co-Lab, FSG facilitators will be joined by Shawnda K. Morris, MBA, PHR, Sr. Workforce Development Program Partner at Trinity Health - Saint Joseph Health System & Loyola Medicine, to explore how leaders can strengthen trust, surface on-the-ground expertise, and turn employee insight into concrete retention strategies. Participants will reflect on a current retention challenge, use FSG’s frontline employee voice framework to identify enabling conditions, and leave with one 30-day experiment, one trust-building practice, and one signal to track.
