Presented by: Glenn Mackey – Retired Aeronautical Engineer
Desires by aircraft operators to reduce or eliminate runway requirements for takeoff and landing have resulted in development of various aircraft designs. One type which offers promise uses the deflected exhaust of the jet engine to produce lift. This seminar discusses a study that was made to evaluate characteristics of this type of jet deflection.
