Diabetes is complex disorder of dysregulated glucose, toxic ketone production and magnesium imbalance. Blood testing to monitor these parameters is important to better manage patient care. This presentation will review literature surrounding point-of-care blood testing and impact of interfering substances and early detection on patient care.
