"This session will guide participants through the powerful practice and structured process for aligning multiple data sources: EVAAS growth data, NCEES teacher evaluation ratings, and EOG/EOC/mCLASS DIBELS achievement results, to gain a clearer, evidence-based picture of school and teacher effectiveness. Participants will: • Start with EVAAS: Learn how to use updated teacher reports to categorize staff by growth levels (Exceeds, Meets, Does Not Meet), document distribution patterns, and identify underlying factors that influence growth outcomes. • Dig deeper into teacher performance: Connect EVAAS growth data to NCEES summative evaluation ratings, analyzing whether observed classroom practice aligns with demonstrated student growth. • Examine achievement data: Compare class, grade-level, and subgroup EOG/EOC/mCLASS DIBELS proficiency results with EVAAS growth measures and NCEES ratings, identifying patterns and inconsistencies across data sets. • Synthesize findings for school improvement: Explore how aligning these three key sources of data can inform decision-making, guide professional development, and ensure accountability for schoolwide effectiveness. By the end of this session, leaders will have a step-by-step framework to tie together disparate data sources, uncover insights about teacher and school performance, and use evidence to drive continuous improvement."
