The Tanner Humanities Center launched its Mormon Studies Initiative in 2010 to encourage the vibrant, intellectual exploration of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and all religious traditions that trace their roots to Joseph Smith.

he Arrington chair was established in 2006. Designed to reflect Dr. Arrington’s excellence in scholarship, the chair remains an integral part of Utah State’s groundbreaking Religious Studies program.
