A roundtable exploring the complexities of writing at the crossroads and/or margins of Mormon history. Five panelists of color wrestle with the difficult questions and ethics surrounding knowledge production of a diverse, global membership. Drawing on their research, panelists discuss the various theories and methodologies they use to write about their community’s unique experiences and histories. The roundtable will highlight how we move these histories from the margins, challenge the ways in which we think about the Mormon center, and explore historical contests over whose histories become 'the' center.
