General activities First floor: Explore the library at will, including the Bookseller, the bookstore located within the library; a permanent exhibit of original artwork from children’s author and illustrator Rosemary Wells’ 2016 book Hand in Hand; the children’s room floor designed by Lois Ehlert; and more Second floor: Head to the Rare Books Annex, redeem your drink ticket, and enjoy some food (to be consumed only in the Annex Gallery). Look around the annex to see what the librarians have on display specifically for Heartland booksellers Specific activities 6:30 pm: Will Koebel, a member of the Friends Board, leads attendees on an architectural tour of Central Library, departing from The Bookseller 7:00 pm: Rare Books Librarian, Tim Rush, shares a short presentation in the Rare Books Annex SHUTTLE INFO - If you choose to shuttle to the library, walk from the hotel lobby through the WBA Hall of Fame hallway to the doors at the 6th Street entrance. The shuttle begins at 6:30 pm and loops between the Hilton and the library. The final pick-up from the library is 8 pm.
