The longer drive on the West Tour includes an interactive storytelling experience facilitated by Ex Fabula, a nonprofit that connects Milwaukee through true stories. As the bus travels, Executive Director Megan McGee will share a few personal stories and storytelling tips. She’ll also invite riders to share their own stories about challenges and surprises they’ve encountered – either via the written “UltraShort” format or as informal, oral stories. Megan will highlight ways that independent booksellers can leverage personal storytelling in their work. To board the bus, walk from the hotel lobby through the WBA Hall of Fame hallway to the doors at the 6th Street entrance.
