Collaboration around vehicle data has traditionally been challenging due to the proprietary nature of signal databases and the data itself. This presentation will explore how the Vehicle Signal Specification (VSS) enables more open and flexible data sharing by transforming proprietary data into a standardized format. Through hands-on demos, we will demonstrate how to convert any recorded vehicle data into VSS, removing proprietary elements and making it cloud-ready for analysis, streaming, and consumption. This transformation allows third parties to use the data for prototyping, developing, and testing systems like AOSP/AAOS. As a bonus, we'll demo how VSS can be applied to simulation data, further expanding opportunities for collaboration and innovation in automotive development.
