The majority of stage combat used and exposed to high school and university students in America is very Western/European based both culturally and technically. However, there is a large movement within the fight community to diversify this art form through the introduction of other cultures' martial movement styles. Explore martial practices from Africa to Polynesia and learn how to incorporate the combat and movement philosophies and cultural practices of non-Western traditions into Stage Combat.
