CyberTipline Supervisor, Management of Process & Personnel
Technology has been used by law enforcement, companies and NGOs for decades to help improve investigations and combat the exploitation of children. In an ever-changing world, the importance of keeping up with emerging trends and tech advancements is increasingly imperative to keep children safer. Leveraging information contained in over 50 million CyberTipline reports, 400 million child sexual abuse files, and tens of thousands of file metadata fields, NCMEC analysts are utilizing new tools to sift through this enormous volume of data to prioritize reports and files received from ESPs and law enforcement. Join us to learn about how new and improved technology is helping the ways NCMEC’s Exploited Children’s Division works with law enforcement and partners to respond to these challenges, rescue more children, and prevent future victimization. Both the CyberTipline and Child Victim Identification Program will be covered in this presentation.
