Objective: To discuss how digital transformation and predictive modeling with Artificial Intelligence can replace antiquated PPBE (Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution) processes with a modern, agile resourcing enterprise capable of realigning funds in real-time to meet emergent global threats. Key Discussion Points: Digital Resourcing Platforms: Replacing "spreadsheet-based" budgeting with integrated business management systems that offer real-time visibility. Predictive Fiscal Modeling: Using AI to forecast the impact of budget realignments on long-term readiness and procurement cycles, specifically for INDOPACIFIC mission sets. Data-Centric Agility: Learn how a "unified data layer" allows for faster decision-making during the Execution phase. Learning Objectives: 1. Attendees will have a better understanding of how the DoW plans to incorporate AI and machine learning to improve the PPBE processes across the FM community. 2. Attendees will learn the various aspects of AI (e.g., Predictive AI - which tells you what might happen vs. Agentic AI which makes it happen) and their applicability to improving DAF resource management. 3. Attendees will learn good starting points for organizations looking to use AI to improve the financial processes, data management, and decision making but are unsure where to start.
