Please complete the poll attached to this session to note that you are attending. This is a pre-conference mini-course offering available to all registered attendees. No additional cost to attend.
This session provides an overview of common bottlenecks impacting financial management and audit readiness across the public sector, including fragmented data sources, manual reconciliation processes, and challenges with unstructured data. It will highlight how these constraints affect visibility, timeliness, and audit defensibility within financial operations.
The presentation will then demonstrate how automation can address these challenges by standardizing data extraction, improving reconciliation processes, and enabling the ingestion of unstructured documents. Attendees will see a Procure-to-Pay (P2P) invoice processing demonstration to illustrate how automation can reduce cycle times and improve operational visibility.
The session concludes with an overview of the UiPath platform, including key capabilities such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), agentic AI, and human-in-the-loop workflows, and how these components work together to support end-to-end process orchestration.
Training Objectives:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify common financial management and audit readiness bottlenecks, including data silos, manual processes, and limited traceability.
- Understand how automation can standardize data extraction and improve data completeness.
- Recognize approaches to automating reconciliation and reducing manual effort.
- Observe how document processing automation can extract and utilize unstructured data.
- Understand how Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes can be streamlined through automation.
- Describe the core components of an automation platform, including RPA, IDP, agentic AI, and human-in-the-loop capabilities.
- Understand how end-to-end orchestration supports scalable and auditable financial operations.
