Participants will learn how our district’s personalized learning program is building collective efficacy through a collaborative model that includes intensive team-based professional development, coaching, administrative vision and district strategic planning. This initiative began with a group of 20 willing and ready teachers and has grown to be a team of 200+ educators in 3 years. Our teams continue to ignite the fire of Personalized Learning in their school buildings and beyond!
Learn how we designed professional development that focuses on building relationships and a collaborative culture, unpacking standards and includes ample time to create personalized learning tools, revise and reflect. Feedback from our teachers confirms that the time invested in giving teachers time to create products that they can use in their classrooms has been the biggest accelerator in their implementation of personalized learning. We believe that through personalized learning, students and teachers grasp the benefits of tracking and analyzing data to accelerate their success. We believe training without ongoing coaching is a loss, therefore we will explain our coaching model in which we meet with our Personalized Learning teams and Administrators monthly to check-in, create, and collaborate with each other to continue improving and achieving student success through the Personalized Learning approach.
