Inala Primary Care commissioned Victoria University to complete a literature review on healthy ageing. One component of that literature review was to study the evidence for social prescribing improving the number of healthy years of life in middle aged to older peoples. The literature was compelling. This session will outline the variety of models and the justification for incorporating social prescribing into a life course model of care starting when people are in their mid-forties.
