OEMs have identified the need for GENIVI projects focused on the challenges faced when adopting and integrating multiple operating environments (Android™, AUTOSAR Adaptive, Linux, QNX, Integrity, etc.) in the centralized and connected cockpit. This session presents two new GENIVI projects: - An Android Automotive SIG supporting OEMs and suppliers adopting and extending the Android Automotive embedded platform - A multi-OS integration project that develops approaches that makes building, enhancing, deploying, securing and managing central cockpit software more efficient and less costly. Overviews for both projects will be discussed and a call for participation in the ongoing work of both projects will be provided.
