The integration of Adaptive AUTOSAR ECUs and IVI systems based on Franca and CommonAPI is an increasingly important topic in the Infotainment domain. A recent GENIVI initiative has resulted in a showcase which has been presented at the CES in Las Vegas in January 2019. During the development of the showcase, a prototype model transformation from AUTOSAR’s arxml to Franca IDL and vice versa has been implemented. In this workshop we will revisit the existing work on analysis, tools and implementation. From there on, we will continue the discussion about next steps regarding transformation tools and inter-platform communication implementations.
