3-hour pre-conference workshop for professionals in high-stress fields such as first response, education, healthcare, and mental health. This interactive session will equip you with essential tools to manage stress, build resilience, and prevent burnout—helping you provide the best care possible while safeguarding your well-being. Through a structured, three-part approach, you'll gain insight into the nervous system, strengthen self-belief, and learn practical regulation techniques to enhance both personal and professional effectiveness. Don't miss this opportunity to invest in yourself and your career! Participants will experience multiple learning styles and opportunities. Some portions will be lecture-style, while others will be interactive activities and smaller group discussions and implementation practice. The workshop is designed to keep attendees actively engaged in learning, able to ask questions, and interact with peers. Objectives ● Participants will explore and define emotional intelligence, resilience, and emotional regulation. ● Participants will understand how the nervous system creates emotional experiences and how they can use this information to self-regulate as a form of self-care. ● Participants will engage with a unique visual cognitive-behavioral model to comprehend the connection between thoughts/beliefs and feelings. ● Participants will practice nervous system regulation techniques that can be implemented when responding to clients and workplace stressors, in order to improve clinical approaches and prevent burnout. ● Participants will identify the building blocks within their own bodies, and how to utilize them, in order to cultivate powerful self-belief and resilience.
