Play is a fundamental part of childhood development and serves as a critical tool in therapy, especially in client-centered approaches for children. It helps children express their emotions, process experiences, and develop crucial skills, including emotion regulation. Session Objectives: 1) Attendees will learn how play enhances emotional awareness and regulation. 2) Attendees will be able to identify ways children build problem-solving and coping skills through play. 3) Attendees will learn how play strengthens relationships and social skills.
