This presentation aims to help participants understand and accept a more expansive concept of grief, which is crucial for promoting mental health and emotional resilience. By acknowledging these diverse loss experiences, people may cope with their grief without having to face the stigma attached to it. This presentation aims to provide participants with the skills they need to deal with emotional dysregulation. 1. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to list at least three types of losses other than death and explain how these losses can impact individuals emotionally. 2. Participants will demonstrate using at least two coping strategies for dealing with loss through role-playing exercises. 3. Participants will identify at least two examples of “hidden” losses in a group discussion.
