Loading and Strengthening Guidelines for Individuals with Osteoporosis

Katie is a physical therapist, graduating from UW-Milwaukee in 2013 with a Bachelors' degree in Human Movement Sciences and then a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2016. Katie began working at Froedtert Hospital in the outpatient, acute, and inpatient neurological and orthopedic rehab settings. She transitioned to a Froedtert outpatient clinic where she treats a variety of neurological conditions including Parkinson's Disease, stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, TBI, etc as well as treats osteoporosis and cancer related diagnoses. Katie also has had her neurospecialty certification (NCS) in PT since 2020. She has also been LSVT BIG certified since 2017, completed her Modern Management of Older Adult (MMOA) certification in 2022, and PWR trained since 2025. She also helped with updates to the osteoporosis patient program that is implemented at Froedtert. Katie believes in a strong team approach with caring for patients and closely works with Occupational and Speech Therapy to deliver care.
