Tracy Zacher is the field office director for Missouri Breaks Industires Research, Inc. (MBIRI). MBIRI is an American Indian owned small business whose main purpose is to create opportunities for health within the communities it serves. Those communities include the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, the Oglala Sioux Tribe and the Spirit Lake Tribe. The mission of Missouri Breaks is to advance innovative solutions through partnerships, data and understanding.
Tracy Zacher graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Psychology. In 1999 she graduated with an associate's degree in nursing. Over the last 25 years, her experience is varied from long-term care, clinic care, hospital care and administration. Since 2011 she has been conducting public health and behavioral health research within the Pine Ridge reservation. She is a proud member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and descendant of Benjamin Clifford, Sr. of the Oglala Sioux Tribe.
