With more than 30 years of experience in financial services, Christine (Christy) Pavlakovich serves as Chief Operating Officer of Members 1st Federal Credit Union. She leads all human resources functions across the organization, including associate experience, benefits, compensation and learning and development. She also oversees legal, compliance, security and risk management, ensuring leaders uphold the organization’s servant leadership philosophy and strong culture. Before joining Members 1st in 2023, Pavlakovich served as Employee Experience Leader at First Commonwealth Bank, where she developed talent strategies to attract and retain top performers. She previously held leadership roles at Centric Bank and Metro Bank, managing human resources operations and driving organizational development, employee engagement and enterprise risk initiatives. Pavlakovich is known for cultivating positive, people-centered workplace cultures and has fully embraced the Members 1st Culture of WE. She is passionate about helping associates grow, thrive and connect through meaningful relationships. In the community, she serves on the board of the Capital Area School for the Arts (CASA) and has been honored with multiple awards, including recognition from American Banker and the YWCA Greater Harrisburg. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University and her SHRM-SCP credential.
