Jessica has been dedicated to emergency communications since 2011, with professional experience spanning dispatcher, trainer, training coordinator, supervisor, and operations manager roles. For over the past 4 years she has been the operations manager for the Maine DPS- Houlton Regional Communications Center, located in the frigid, northern regions of Maine. She holds a master’s degree in criminal justice and is passionate about education, mentorship, and advancing excellence within the emergency communications profession. Jessica is APCO-certified as a CTO, CTO Instructor, LEC, and LEC Instructor, and earned her ENP and CMCP through NENA. She currently serves as 1st Vice President for Atlantic APCO, and serves on the Atlantic APCO Training Committee, APCO Editorial Committee, and WIN Mentorship Committee. Outside of work, she enjoys teaching, lifelong learning, and spending time with her husband and their two children. She also loves dogs- especially corgis. Don’t be surprised to see at least one picture of Chandler during her presentations- she’s obsessed.
