Theatre Can be Anywhere: Staging Immersive and Site-Specific Work
10:30 AM - 12:00 PM Wed
As an independent producer and director whose projects include, but are not limited to, site-specific and immersive productions, Jeremy believes theatre can be anywhere. His projects include A Clockwork Orange in a warehouse, Equus in a barn, and Dracula in an Edwardian fetish club. Over the summer of 2020, he presented an outdoor, traveling production of The Bacchae in a parking lot and airport field. In 2021, Jeremy staged the thrilling ghost play The Woman in Black for which he received Orlando Sentinel Critic's Pick for sound design, and he was named the Critic's Pick for directing the Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning play Angels in America. Before leaving Florida for Pittsburgh, he staged an immersive, sold-out production of A Streetcar Named Desire.
