SAMANTHA NORTON, Fight Director, Voice and Dialect Union Affiliations: AEA, SAG/AFTRA, SAFD Samantha holds a Masters Degree in Opera and Theatre from the University of Maryland, College Park, is an Adjunct Instructor for Bloomsburg University and Bucknell University where she teaches acting, stage combat, voice and dialect. Samantha has also been a guest instructor and director at Susquehanna University, Maywood University and the Pennsylvania Governors School For The Arts. Recent fight choreography include, The Sweet Science of Bruising, Bucknell University, When Push Comes to Shove, Bucknell University, Romeo and Juliet at Susquehanna University, Macbeth, Bloomsburg University, True West, The Wild Party at Bucknell University, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Visit at Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts, King Lear, at the Aulis Theatre, NYC, Titus Andronicus, Twelfth Night, Taming of the Shrew at Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, NY. In addition to her fight choreography, Samantha has put her opera vocal training to great use as a voice and dialect consultant. Recent productions are Carousel, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Black Comedy, Pride and Prejudice, and The Wild Party. Samantha received The New York Innovative Theatre Artists Awards for Best Supporting Actress in How I Learned to Drive.
