Connor McCanlus (he/him) is the Academy Director at Arcade Comedy Theater in Pittsburgh. He is an improv and sketch comedian whose work has been featured in national comedy festivals including Chicago (iO, Second City) and NYC (UCB, Magnet, PIT). He has taught comedy workshops at Coalition Theater, Philly Improv Theater, as well as locally for Point Park University, University of Pittsburgh, Winchester Thurston School, and Pittsburgh CLO. As a member of Actors' Equity Association, he has performed with various local companies including Pittsburgh CLO, Pittsburgh Public Theater, Quantum Theatre, Bricolage Production Company, Kinetic Theatre, barebones productions, and The REP at Point Park University. McCanlus has created and directed works for Throughline Theatre Company, Uncumber Theatrics, and Front Porch Theatricals.
