Leora Jontef is the Assistant Vice President for Housing and Real Estate at NYC Health + Hospitals (H+H), the nation’s largest public safety net health care system. She leads strategic housing and real estate initiatives. In 2020, she launched H+H’s Housing for Health initiative which is a multi-faceted housing policy and opportunity program for the system’s high priority homeless patients. In this role, she oversees H+H five borough land assets for the development of supportive housing; interagency collaboration to assure multi-system users are housed expeditiously; and securing and financing new and creative interim and permanent housing opportunities in the NYC marketplace, such as respite and service enriched permanent housing.
