Chris Goldstein is a writer based in New Jersey. For 25 years he's been a cannabis consumer activist and he's currently a regional organizer at NORML.Chris formerly served on the Board of Directors at PhillyNORML, NORML- New Jersey and the Coalition for Medical Marijuana New Jersey. In 2017 Chris received the Hunter S. Thompson Award for marijuana writing. In politics, Chris helped with Philadelphia's successful decriminalization bill and is a regional organizer for reform efforts with NORML in New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Starting in 2013 Chris wrote "Philly420" a weekly marijuana column for the Philadelphia Inquirer. In 2017 he created the "Marijuana in the News" class at Temple University's Journalism Department. Today, Chris lives in South Jersey where he still serves as NORML's Regional Organizer and he tries to spend more time fishing than on his cellphone.
