Samantha is a Food Microbiologist with a Ph.D. from Cornell University and over 9 years of experience supporting the food industry in developing and implementing practical, science-based food safety and quality solutions. She has supported numerous food companies in developing and strengthening their food safety plans, sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOPs), and environmental monitoring programs for pathogens and indicator organisms. Additionally, Samantha has contributed extensively to applied food safety research, having authored more than 25 peer-reviewed articles focused on understanding and reducing risks of Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes, and pathogenic E. coli in ready-to-eat food products.
