Recycling Solar Panels and Batteries: Building a Circular Economy
9:35 AM - 9:50 AM Wed
Brady Radovich's career spans nearly two decades in renewable energy infrastructure, from pioneering residential solar deployment to utility-scale Virtual Power Plants to circular economy solutions. He currently serves as Director of Sales at SOLARCYCLE, where he manages strategic partnerships with major solar asset owners and leads the company's expansion into comprehensive solar panel and balance-of-system electronics recycling across the continental United States. As Powerwall-Americas Manager at Tesla, Brady deployed to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands in October 2017, less than a month after Hurricane Maria destroyed over 80% of the island's electrical grid. Over the following twelve months, working on the ground with local organizations, he led efforts to assess and train local contractors who rebuilt solar and battery systems at hospitals and critical infrastructure, restoring emergency 24/7 power to community centers and health care facilities serving the most vulnerable residents. At SolarCity, he served as Senior Director of Business Development, leading partnerships that generated 30% of company sales volume, including the landmark Home Depot contract. As Vice President at Swell Energy for five years, he built Virtual Power Plants across California, New York, and Hawaii. Beyond renewable energy infrastructure, Brady is an AI transformation strategist and author of "AI in Perspective" and "Microsoft Copilot in Perspective," helping professionals integrate artificial intelligence into their workflows. Through his consulting practice at All In Perspective (www.allinperspective.net), he coaches executives, legal professionals, and business leaders on practical AI adoption without requiring technical expertise. Brady holds degrees from the University of Oregon and California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in Natural Resource Management and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Armenia.
