Since age 9, Alex was placed in over 26 Foster/group homes. In her own words, “depression, PTSD, anxiety, and bipolar have taken a huge toll on my life.” She now considers her traumatic experiences a blessing, “as they have made her the woman she is today.” Alex has always wanted to inspire other foster youth and give them hope for their future. As a recent graduate of the Mentoring Program, she has been promoted to supervisor at Compassion Planet's Thrift Store. She is excelling in this role and inspiring those around her.
