Leanne is a Director at the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care,, Specialist Adviser and former Chief Executive Officer of the Consumers Health Forum of Australia, the nation's preeminent peak body for health care consumers.
Leanne is a health and social policy advocate and communications expert. She has executive level experience working across government and non-government settings specialising in health consumer affairs, community engagement, primary health and mental health care reform. Leanne held prior CEO and executive roles at the Australian Medicare Local Alliance, Australian General Practice Network, and Capital Health Network.
Leanne has extensive governance and advisory experience. Current directorships include Coordinare (the Southeastern NSW Primary Health Network) and the OzHelp Foundation. She is a former director of the Australian Pharmacy Council, painAustralia and the Population Health Research Network. She has served on high-level, Ministerially appointed government taskforces and has chaired government committees including the ACSQHC's Patient Advisory Panel.
She is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Management and has qualifications on communications and business.
