Jess Franks is the Manager of Co-Design and Engagement at Western Victoria Primary Health Network since 2021. In her role, she spearheads organisational co-design initiatives, leading the implementation of the Lived Experience Framework and Social Connection/Prescribing programs. With a fervent dedication to health equity, holistic wellness, and preventive healthcare, Jess is committed to bridging gaps in access and care provision. Currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Melbourne, Jess delves into the realm of social media usage among young adults during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her research focuses on exploring social connections, social capital, social resilience, and social cohesion within this context. By investigating the intricate dynamics of digital interaction, Jess aims to contribute valuable insights into enhancing mental health support and fostering community resilience in the digital age.
