Alexandra is a service design researcher and practitioner, with a specific focus on designing for wellbeing in long-term service settings like aged care, higher education and healthcare. She has previously worked as the Associate Director - Service Design for the Dept. of Veteran Affairs and is currently a PhD candidate in the Centre for Behavioural Economics, Society and Technology at Queensland University of Technology. Alexandra has recently published in the Journal of Service Theory and Practice, and has worked on a range of projects within the Behavioural Change and Social Marketing stream of BEST, applying human centred design principles to unpack complex problems such as preventing homelessness amongst mature aged women and establishing social connectedness for older Australians.
