Lisa's dedication to the carer community is deeply rooted in over two decades of experience in the community sector. Holding degrees in Psychology and Community Development, she has been a driving force in mental health and youth sectors, contributing significantly to organisations like Lifeline, Headspace, Richmond Fellowship and the Australian Childhood Foundation. Her career is marked by the development and implementation of innovative, award-winning services, showcasing her exceptional knowledge and expertise.
A pivotal moment in Lisa's career was her appointment to the Ministerial National Family Carers Voice in 2004, highlighting her long-standing commitment to carer advocacy.
Lisa's vision is to not just support, but to empower carers. She is dedicated to ensuring that their voices are not only heard but are influential in shaping policies and practices.
