Evie Aspinall is the Director of the British Foreign Policy Group, a non-partisan think tank focused on the UK's role in the world. She is a leading expert in soft power, and alongside the British Council she co-convenes the UK Soft Power Group. She is also an expert in public opinion and since 2020 has led the UK's most comprehensive research programme on public opinion on foreign policy. She holds a BA from the University of Cambridge and an MSc from King’s College London and has previously worked at UN Women UK and the Future Leaders Network, as well as previously serving as President of Cambridge University Students’ Union. She is a regular commentator in the media on issues pertinent to UK foreign policy.
