Margaret is a Regional CNO responsible for nursing strategy, practice, standards, education, research, patient/consumer outcomes and workforce in all care settings for the Illinois region of AAH. She also serves as the System Vice President, Clinical Operations responsible for System Infection Prevention, System Tele-ICU, System Central Telemetry, Wisconsin Tele-Sitting program and the Illinois Patient Command Center. She joined Advocate Health Care in 2014 and served as System Vice President of Nursing and Clinical Operations from 2014 to 2020. She was appointed to the Regional CNO, System VP of Clinical Operations for Advocate Aurora Health n 2020. Prior to joining Advocate Aurora Health, she served in a variety of executive nursing and clinical leadership roles, including Chief Nurse Executive, Senior Vice President (SVP) of Quality for Vanguard Health System/Chicago market, System Chief Nurse Executive, Senior VP of Quality at Presence Health and System SVP, Chief Clinical Officer at Provena Health. Margaret has served on the boards of Consorta, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elgin, Illinois and Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Illinois. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Thomas Jefferson University, a master’s degree in nursing at the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s in business at Drexel University. She is board certified as a nursing executive.
