C2C Aaron Loya is a Second Class Cadet at the United States Air Force Academy located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Aaron attended high school in Rome, Georgia, and was involved in Cross Country, Civil Air Patrol, and Junior ROTC, where he received his Private Pilot’s License. Following high school, he received an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy, and attended basic training. At the end of his freshman year at the Academy, he was one of nine cadets in his class selected to join the Precision Flying Team. During his time on the team, Aaron has competed in several flying and ground events at the regional and national levels, in addition to being ranked near the top of his Academy class. After graduation, he hopes to attend pilot training and fly the nation’s frontline airframes.
