Carlos López-Maisonave has over 15 years of experience in design, installation, commissioning, sales, and quality assurance inspection of over 1,300 photovoltaic systems. He is a proven leader in the Solar PV Industry, collaborating on several workforce development projects for universities and international companies. His experience with PREPA and Luma Energy, especially in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria in 2017, give him a unique perspective on the solutions needed to stabilize the island’s electrical grid. He is a NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professional, a DDEC Certified PV Systems Installer and professional engineer in Puerto Rico.
