Selah advances SUN’s policy priorities in collaboration with state and jurisdictional staff in Washington, DC, Puerto Rico, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida. He regularly activates our growing base throughout this region in defense of policies that promote energy affordability, democracy, equity, and resiliency. This includes campaigns that address plug-in solar, virtual power plants, net metering, community solar, interconnection reform, rate hikes, and more. Before joining SUN, he was an Energy Justice Campaigner at the Center for Biological Diversity primarily focused on projects that exposed and resisted investor-owned utilities’ profiteering efforts, anti-competitive competitive tactics, and punitive shutoffs for non-payment. He graduated from Yale University in 2020 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies. He is based out of Washington, DC.
